The wedding backdrop for this couple was almost as stunning as the couple themselves! They couldn’t have timed the changing colors of the season more perfectly. The guests were all smiles as they boarded the Payday chairlift for this mountain top ceremony at Park City’s Alpine Meadows.
The groom’s daughter played such an involved role throughout the entire day. She stood up front with the couple at the ceremony as they recited their vows, the bride and groom both recited vows directly to her, and the daddy/daughter dance featured her as well. It was so touching and heart felt–not a dry eye in the house during all of these touching moments. This was also a week after Kasey found out she was pregnant with her first baby, so these special family moments really got to her! She couldn’t keep it together during that father/daughter dance! She’ll always remember how sweet this wedding was, and it will always hold a special place in her heart.
Park City provided complimentary umbrellas for all of the guests at the ceremony site (they do this in rain or shine). Park City weather can be so unpredictable, even the weather man cannot get it straight sometimes! The team had to work hard to hold the couple’s ceremony on the mountain; it was looking like we couldn’t get everyone up to the spot– but with the help of the Park City Mountain staff, we made it happen and we are so glad we did! The clouds parted and it turned into a gorgeous outdoor fall ceremony; we avoided all rain drops!
After the ceremony, all guests enjoyed a scenic ride back down in the Park City vehicles to the reception site at High West Distillery (because of the rain earlier, the Alpine Slide was closed, so everyone went down the hill in 4×4 SUVs) . The rest of the evening was followed by delicious food and drinks provided by High West and dancing the night away to the Jonathon Moody band (a band from Texas that the bride and groom found themselves)–and they rocked it! These moments shared with one another will be remembered forever.
