Cassie & Gabe’s wedding in Big Cottonwood Canyon was extra special for soooo many reasons. These two are not only close friends of our entire team, but they have also helped work events with us on-and-off for the past 5 years. Needless to say, we wanted their wedding to ROCK and we certainly feel that it did!! Not to mention, are they not the most beautiful couple ever!? And their DOGS!? Everything about their style & design just fit the location perfectly and made for such a dreamy mountain wedding.
The amount of time, creativity & LOVE that went into every detail of this wedding was truly one-of-a-kind. The groom, Gabe, is a building wizard and could essentially bring anything Cassie dreamed up to life. He constructed a giant teepee structure that served as their ‘arbor’, as well as a super cool tree swing which we decked out with greenery & lavender. The bride’s bouquet was our proud masterpiece — She wanted it wild & full of movement, but other than that she gave HME full creative discretion. The bridesmaids bouquets were kept sweet & simple with full bunches of fresh picked lavender. For the boutonnieres we did a spring of rosemary & lavender, which turned out super cute. The wood signs were designed by HME’s in-house calligrapher Lettering by Linney, who was also the bride’s childhood best friend & MOH :).
For their reception, Gabe sliced hundreds of wood pieces in varying heights to line the dinner tables. Harvest Moon just had to fill in with the floral, greenery & candlelight. The napkins were topped with a sprig of lavender and cute note, defining the theme of “Love & Lavender”.
Their grand entrance with dolphin & horse head was so fitting for Cassie and Gabe. These two have a love like no other and it was truly beautiful watching them finally tie-the-knot after 10 years of being in love. We LOVED helping bring it all together and were so honored to be apart of their big day — CONGRATS again you two! WE ADORE YOU.
