Andrea & Rob | August 2015 | Snowbird Resort

We had some fun with Andrea & Rob’s wedding at Snowbird during the first weekend of Oktoberfest this year! The couple walked right through the action on their way to First Look photos, receiving hoots and hollers from supportive Oktoberfest goers. An exciting ‘grand entrance’ before the main event :).
The ceremony took place outside on the Creekside Terrace, then moved inside The Cliff Lodge for reception. Snowbird’s gorgeous mountain views continued to remain front & center for the remainder of the evening with floor to ceiling windows in this awesome space. We ended up adding a statement floral chandelier last minute after the crystal one we were planning to use fell a day before the event. Yikes! Part of being a Wedding Planner is thinking on your toes to bring together an amazing day, no-matter-what, and that’s exactly what we did. We incorporated hops because the bride and groom were big beer fans and added lots of greenery to make for a very flowy & organic green chandelier. It all came together just BEAUTIFULLY in the end. Phew!
As an added bonus to the pinterest-perfect ‘naked’ cake pictured below, ice cream sandwiches were served. Guests even got to choose their own cookie and ice cream pairing – What a unique treat! Snowbird’s pastry team loves going above & beyond for their couple’s to ensure a ‘sweet ending’ to the evening that fits the couple’s taste. Such a perk to have this kind of culinary talent in-house!
A few more detail shots, just because it is too hard narrowing down favorites of this gorgeous mountain wedding! From the floral details to the gold flatware – It was a special event.
