Emily & John | July 2016 | Lookout Cabin

Emily and John were surrounded by their closest family & friends on mountain top as they said ‘i do’. The most incredible part? They hadn’t EVER seen the venue in-person until the day before their wedding!! Talk about trusting your instincts! Lucky for them, Lookout Cabin’s 360 views of the Wasatch Mountains never disappoint. The bubble chair ride up is just the icing on the cake 🙂

They opted to set one long dining table outside so their guests (who mostly flew in from Florida) could fully appreciate and enjoy everything this location has to offer. It also created a more intimate, family-style dining experience with only 40 guests in attendance. Their colors were soft and romantic in shades of blush, ivory & sage, using an eclectic mix of bud vases to accomplish a simple & understated beauty.

After dinner, guests danced under a bistro-lit sky in the cool mountain air. The silhouette of the mountains and the faint lights of the town down below created a magical atmosphere. Not to mention, seeing the way these two looked at each other… Would make a romantic out of anyone! Certainly a night that none of their guests will soon forget.

We wish you many, many years of happiness, Emily & John!! Thank you for letting us assist with your gorgeous mountain-top wedding! It was a dream :).
