Fireside Dining. It’s a magical thing. We have done a few events at Deer Valley’s Empire Canyon Lodge now, and are in love every time. Guest take their plates around to various fire places in the Lodge and are served melting cheeses with all the accouterments, as well as sliced meat that was pulled from the fire moments ago. For dessert, there’s a fondue station with chocolate and carmel fondues staying melty next to the fire.
Excellent choice for a wedding any time of year, and especially during the cold winter months to warm your guests inside and out. This winter wedding melts our hearts with their incorporation of gold into the bouquets and decor. Loved Heather Nan’s outdoor photo shoot in front of the neighboring Montage hotel as well!
She even captured the moment the firemen came through the venue to check on it (since the alarm ironically went off right as the couple said “I DO”)–probably had something to do with the delicious smells of the meat cooking on the fire places. Guests and the couple alike were amused by the firemen’s arrival, and asked to take photos with them. Always love a harmless, comical, unexpected addition to the evening!
